Our experience is very much similar. Unfortunately the same problem regarding the account managers. We even asked if we could get a new one. He was even worse. If they can simply fix up their retention and account management team they should be a above average broker.

Thanks for the warning @botzz It is a cycle that repeats itself over and over and yet people still get fooled and convinced due to their amazing marketing and sales videos. These people are professionals when it comes to scamming! Let's expose these sites and make other users aware on MetaBinaryOptions so they don't have to go through what 1000s are going through = getting their hard earned money taking away from them!

Not a very popular broker yet worth giving a try. Nothing bad to report, withdrawal was a slightly lengthy process but at least we received our funds. If they can improve in that department I would give them a higher rating. Keep an eye out and see how they grow as a broker and let us know your experience with them.

Not a very good broker imo even though they are FSCL Regulated. Their risk management is to "strict" and spreads are high. Overall they are heading in the right direction. Improvements will need to be made to secure a spot with the top brokers such as StockPAIR.

Tradde4me Version 2.0 has been released a few weeks ago. Although just like any new launch we experienced a few bugs testing their new features. After testing it for over 3 weeks, we can now safely say it is stable. What an amazing job they have done. One thing that stands out is the 250ms delay between trades executions, No lag, No delay website loading time. They took all the user feedback and turned it into a stand out service.

No-Shave-Affiliates, GOptions' affiliate program is a SCAM. We got countless claims of affiliates working with them for years that have not received their commissions since October 2015. Account manager Danny Stevens (Not his real name) ignores all contact, not responding to emails or attempts to communicate via Skype. Please share your experience is you are also experiencing similar issues. In the meantime, we advise all affiliates to stay away from No-Shave-Affiliates, as well as traders to NOT join GOptions.

FairTradex did not even launch after keeping affiliates on hold for over a year, getting free traffic and leads. Now it is reported that they started a new website and company. This sounds very dodgy. We will have to have a look into their new website to comment and give feedback. But surely a bad start for them since they have not even notified affiliates. It looks like their plan was to gather affiliates and get free traffic and leads from them and then launch a new site. It is now called TradeEqual - http://www.tradequal.com Let us know what you think. Feedback would be appreciated!

Honestly, have to say they are one of the worse brokers based on how their affiliate managers react and treat people. Alina Kibak, Affiliate manager at BinaryTilt has a horrible attitude. I cannot believe the owners allow someone like that to work and represent a brand. Stay away from them. I am withdrawing my funds and NOT even plan on promoting them at all due to Alina Kibak.

Here is an email they sent to a website owner after contacting them first:

"Grow up kid and talk to me when you do that. One thing i can say we pay on regulation more then any other, and more than that , i didn't check your website, i checked the 3 biggest brokerages for review from their affiliate working with you, and they said your ### ill save it to my self :) All the best kiddo. "

Besides the spelling errors for a so-called English speaking person, this is an embarrassment to Alina Kibak and BinaryTilt - How do you allow such people to represent you???

Anybody else have had similar experiences? Please do share!

Hi Yoyozeit, When you place a trade of $10, $10 gets subtracted from your balance. So when you win a trade the $10 investment + $8 profit = $18 gets added to your account balance. Hope that clears things up. Glad you are enjoying the simulator! - BIG D

BIG D with some news for SignalPush users.... After SpotOption decided to STOP all US traffic SignalPush is in danger of closing down. They are US located and Binary Options in the US is illegal, and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is getting strict. If someone had to report them they can actually get shut down. So just a heads up folks!. Hi folks, BIG D here.... I have personally tested the "BOAT" aka BinaryOptionsAutotrader for 3 months now before we decided to add them to our website. One thing that makes them stand out from the rest is their HONESTY. I had to say that in caps due to them not being scammers like the other services out there, hiding losses and making it look like every month is all sunshine without drawdowns. If you look at their overall performance since month 1 when they launched they have been profitable and consistent. That is my stands out to me! Yea I can see the haters getting ready to comment on my post while they reading this. Real traders know that it is the long term results that count. The wanna be traders are the ones that fall for this fake BS marketing tactics and end up losing their deposit countless times in a cycle they will never come out of. Harsh words, but it's the truth folks! Hats of to Mark, Chris and the rest of the SAS NEUTRINO team! Honestly amazing people that are always open and ready to assist....

They SHAVE FTDs... They don't even know what is going on in their own company if you ask me! They still owe me $3000 in commissions they refuse to pay due to clients not sending documents apparently. Today’s article is something I personally have difficulty with and that is distractions. So many distractions, how do I focus on trading? That interesting YouTube video, my fiancé demanding my attention and even getting up every 10 minutes to get something to drink – distractions that set me back and make me lose focus. Every trader has these issues in countless different ways.

Focus is, unfortunately, what very many traders lack and is the reason to their downfall. When you lose focus, your goals slip away and you settle for average results. Get rid of and block the distractions out, focus on what you need to focus on, which is Binary Options Trading.

“Starve your distractions – Feed your focus”

This quote caught my eye and this should be motivation to when you are trading.

The article explains some common distraction that most traders face on a day to day basis and how to avoid them to get the best results from your trading career.

Test them out and see what works best for YOU!

Set A Time Frame Dedicated To Trading

Whether you are a part-time trader and have a day job or a full-time trader you should always set a dedicated time for trading.

If you are a part-time trader with a day job avoid placing trades while at another job as you will only be looking for trades when you don’t have other work to do and this creates a time constraint for finding good trades. Don’t try to squeeze in a trade between other work. Set a dedicated time for yourself to focus on just trading. If this means trading Binary Options at night after your day job, then so be it. Your trading performance can improve if you are able to focus on your trading without distractions of other work.

If you trade from home and have no day job, then you will have a different set of distractions. These distractions come in the form of your kids, spouse, roommate, tv, watching YouTube videos of funny animals, surfing the internet, sleeping in or taking a nap, getting a snack from the kitchen, and the list goes on.

Set a schedule and routine for your day. Begin trading at a specific time for a standard duration. This will be different each day depending on how the market is moving. A break in between trading times is good to stretch and get the blood flowing, get food, check your email, check on the kids and animals etc. Return to your next trading session, fresh and ready to take on what comes next.

Inform People Around You

The downside of trading from home is that your loved ones may not understand that you need some quiet time to focus on your trading. A spouse or kiddies can make demands during your trading time which can affect the profitability of your trades. Inform everyone in the household that there are certain times of the day or night that are ‘do not disturb’ times.

If you are trading in a public place such as a café or restaurant, make sure to order your food and drinks in advance before trading. Inform the staff that you do not want to be disturbed but remember to tip them well for the privacy.

Work Space And Noisy Distractions

Choose what you would like to see when you are sitting at your workspace. Some traders like to have a view of the outdoors as this calms them. If the activities outdoors keep you distracted move your workspace elsewhere with something that calms you. Whatever helps you focus is what should be around you while trading.

Your work space can be a big source of distraction. If your workspace is filled with clutter, it can become difficult to focus on trading and opportunities can be missed. Try to keep your area clean so that you can concentrate on your trading.

Keep only trading-related materials in your workspace. That means no Xbox, PC games, Smartphones or Tablets (unless used for trading purposes), etc. With all these gadgets that connect us to social media and entertainment, maintaining focus can be very challenging at times. Log out of social media and email accounts during trading times, even consider putting these gadgets off altogether and in another room to not give into temptation. Surround yourself with things that can improve your trading performance.

Make sure you are using the correct trading tools as this can cause a lot of distraction while trading. Trying to trade on a slow internet connection frustrates everybody and leads you to make poor trading choices. Ensure that you have the latest trading software as not to slow you down. Using the right software and tools will lead to the best results.

Other distractions can be due to the type of environment you’re in and can cause you to lose your money because of lack of concentration. You could have noisy neighbours, children running around, the gardener with his lawnmower outside, etc. These distractions can also be visual such as bright sunlight or the TV playing to itself in the background. If you feel that you cannot focus with all the distractions, take a break from trading until the noise is over. While trading short-term options, it is crucial not to get distracted as your undivided attention is required for as long as the trading period lasts.

If you can concentrate well while listening to music with earphones, then do so to block out any other noise around you. If not, I suggest you invest in a pair of ear plugs.

Can You Stay Focused While Trading?

A perfect quote that sums up this article:

“Work hard in silence, let your success be the noise” – Frank Ocean

Maintaining focus is difficult and at times it seems downright impossible, but if you are fully committed to Binary Options trading, it is possible. Make sure that you have as little distractions as possible for you to focus and BE IN THE MONEY!

Today’s article is something I put a lot of thought into since it is highly debated amongst traders. One of our members actually posted this exact question a few months ago – Is Trading Classified As Gambling? Although he was referring to trading in general, we will be focusing on Binary Options Trading specifically. Secondly, I think it is time to finally put this topic to rest for once and for all moving into 2016. I am simply going to state the facts, be non-biased while taking real life scenarios into account. I will also share my personal view at the end of the article. In the end, it is still up to you whether or not you agree or not. Be open minded and think things through after reading the article. Is Binary Options considered as Gambling – YOU be the judge!

Before we jump into this article I would like to take the opportunity to remind you what Meta Binary Options is all about. I encourage each and every one of you to give your input, comments or feedback. We allow all and any feedback, positive or negative. Speak your mind! We would love to hear from you, not only in regards to this article but other as well. We try and help out where we can and so do our members. Please remember that there is no such thing as a stupid question. The only stupid thing would be to not ask the question. Just like you, myself and others also started out exactly where you are right now. Time to put your thinking caps on.

What Is Gambling

Since this article is about gambling I think it is important to look at the definition of the word ‘gambling’. I think this should be made clear before we venture further into this topic.

Definition of gambling

• Play games of chance for money; bet.
• Take risky action in the hope of a desired result.
• To play a game in which you can win or lose money or possessions.
• To bet money or other valuable things.
• To risk losing (an amount of money) in a game or bet.
• To risk losing (something valuable or important) in order to do or achieve something.

Our Own Interpretation/Explanation

We can see that the definition is based around ‘risk’ & ‘money’ in simple terms. The ‘outcome of something’ also plays an important role. Keep these 3 (risk, money, outcome of something) important factors in mind as I will refer back to it later in the article to state a few facts. Now that we have a better understanding what exactly gambling is we can start a valid argument or debate to ultimately answer our questions; Is Binary Options Considered As Gambling.

What Is Binary Options Trading

It is just as important that we know what the definition of binary options is, right? This way we can way them up against each other to come to a better conclusion and understanding. I am sure you Google the term “Binary Option” you will find hundreds, if not thousands of search results, explaining exactly what a binary option is. The only issue is the way it gets explained. It’s a more complex, non-newbie friendly and confusing first time enthusiasts. Explaining something in a way that is hard to understand goes against the whole purpose of writing about the topic in the first place. This section’s purpose is to explain “what a binary option is” in a simple to understand format, hopefully shedding some light on this topic. So what exactly is this popular form of trading called binary options?

Definition of binary options

Binary option – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
• In finance, a binary option is a type of option in which the payoff can take only two possible outcomes, either some fixed monetary amount of some asset or nothing at all (in contrast to ordinary financial options that typically have a continuous spectrum of payoff).
I am sure most of you reading this find the Wikipedia definition somewhat confusing. Technically there is also a few misleading errors that should be cleared up when looking at Binary Options Trading as it stands now. Multiple changes take place on a regular basis by brokers expanding the way traders can trade.

1. A Binary Option actually has 3 possible outcomes.

• In-The-Money (winning trade)
• Out-The-Money (losing trade)
• At-The-Money (trade resulting in a tie)

2. A Binary Option trade does not offer a fixed amount or nothing at all.

• Out-The-Money insurance is offered by some brokers
• Some brokers offer an early close feature

The reason for these 2 misconceptions is most likely due to how Binary Options “evolved” so to speak. It has changed immensely over the past few years, making it a truly unique form of financial trading.

Our Own Interpretation/Explanation

Referring to the financial markets, a binary option is a trade that only has three possible outcomes. The payout can either be a partial or fixed amount. The maximum risk and reward is known before the trade is executed. You cannot lose more money than your predefined risk. A binary option contract can be purchased on any asset class. The trade’s outcome is determined when a trade is manually or automatically closed at expiration. A calculated decision can be made in regards to where the selected asset price is moving.

If you do find any of the terms used unfamiliar you can make use of our Glossary Of Terms available on the forum.

As you may have noticed is that the word ‘money’ & ‘risk’ also comes into play. Reading these definitions, you might think, wow, they sound very similar. No so fast! If we quote the last sentence mentioning ‘a calculated decision’ we see a whole new meaning and interpretation.

I can imagine a lot of you are thinking but both can have a Glossary Of Terms. 100% Correct. Each industry has its own fancy terms unique to it. The fact that the 2 industry terms are completely different is what separates them in that respected aspect. So now that the confusion is out of the way it’s time to state some facts. To make it more interesting, we will through Forex Trading into the mix just to state a point.

There Is Risk Involved
• Gambling
• Binary Options
• Forex

You Can Lose All Your Funds
• Gambling
• Binary Options
• Forex

Know Your Risk/Reward Before Hand
• Gambling
• Binary Options
• Forex

Money Is Involved
• Gambling
• Binary Options
• Forex

Make Calculated Predictions/Decisions
• Binary Options
• Forex

Emotions Come Into Play
• Gambling
• Binary Options
• Forex

You vs. The House
• Gambling
• Binary Options
• Forex (Market Makers)

By looking at the above we can see a lot of similarities but most importantly the fact that separates trading (Binary Options, Forex) from gambling. The fact that we can make calculated predictions and estimates. It is not purely based on the luck of the draw. Don’t get me wrong, some ‘traders’ have no idea what they are doing and do rely on pure luck. This brings us to a final conclusion.

Is Binary Options Considered As Gambling

Although it has a lot of similarities but so does Forex, there is a difference. You have to realize that you decide whether or not it turns into gambling or not. Remember that I mentioned in the beginning of the article that you’d be the judge. Starting to make sense now? You have the control. If you really want to get technical we can say that we gamble on a daily basis. Not by going to the casino but making choices and decisions. I hope you see the value in this article and enjoyed reading it. Defined as gambling or not, what difference does it make to you?

Dennis Cutler

So this has been a highly debated topic (Spot Forex vs Binary Options) in the trading industry so I decided to give some background on Spot Forex, thus showing that it is not that different in the sense to where Binary Options is now, and where it is supposedly heading to. You might be surprised how similar these two completely different forms of trading are. Let’s have a quick look at the background around the Spot Forex market.

Spot Forex has been around since the 1970s after a 3-decade government restriction on foreign exchange transactions. Looking at this information, we can see that Forex and Binary Options are not that different after all in regards to being accepted as a legitimate form of trading. Binary Options is still in this process due to US CFTC  regulations. While other regulated bodies have started to give out regulations, we are still far away from seeing the United States giving in. Does this mean the binary industry is not a valid opportunity to bank some profits? A lot of Forex traders are making the switch to capitalize on this form of trading.

Some Interesting Facts About the Foreign Exchange Market

The average daily turnover is in excess of US$4 trillion! Crazy Right? Here is the break-down From Wikipedia.

  • $1.490 trillion in spot transactions
  • $475 billion in outright forwards
  • $1.765 trillion in foreign exchange swaps
  • $43 billion currency swaps
  • $207 billion in options and other products

I am not going to go into details as to how and what exactly the Spot Forex market is. A quick Google search will do the trick.

Why Are People Making The Switch

The short answer is – Opportunity! Some traders realized that they can capitalize on this form of trading in a similar way to how they have been trading FX. Since binary options allow you to trade most if not all currency pairs this is nothing new to them. It comes down to still being in your comfort zone. Although the way it works is different, the principle stays the same. Where will the market price go – Period! This is not something the first binary options brokers thought out or did by accident. It was purposely designed this way.

Ever thought about the above mentioned?

This is not a formal article, more of an eye opener to those that despise binary options. Is Spot Forex and Binary Options really that much different? I would love to hear your feedback, comments or arguments regarding this topic! If this is something that becomes a popular subject I would love to go into more detail.

Another year of binary options trading is coming to an end as the festive seasons starts. For some, this past year was a learning curve, for some it was a profitable while some just want to put it behind them start over in the new year. In which category do you fit into? You might be on the verge of giving up and throwing in the towel. Honestly, it does not really matter. Why may you ask? Although I will touch on how the markets differ dramatically during this time of the year, I also want to show you the positives you can take from your trading this past year. Good or Bad… Stick around to see my end of year trading tip – you might just be surprised!

A New Year – A New Start

Let the future tell the truth, and evaluate each one according to his work and accomplishments. The present is theirs; the future, for which I have really worked, is mine.

Read this above quote a few times, give it some thought and apply it to your current trading situation. As long as you learn from your mistakes to improve your trading, having had a bad year can actually be turned into a positive. The pain, sweat and tears are temporary, but giving up lasts a lifetime! You will always have that “what if” factor in the back of your mind. The regret of giving up; The regret of failing; The regret that you did not push through. Perseverance is the key to success in all aspects of life. Get into the right mindset and start 2016 on a clean slate! Don’t forget your mistakes or downfalls, rather use it to your advantage.

Festive Season Trading Tip

Something worth mentioning, especially now during Christmas time, is to not fall for the marketing strategies around binary options brokers. They are so good at it that you cannot wait to take out your card make another deposit. They love to give away 100% or even as high as 200% bonuses. This is a BIG NO NO! They are not doing you a favor, nor are you doing yourself any justice. Be sharp and ask your account manager about the terms & conditions regarding your “Christmas bonus” before even considering it. Don’t get me wrong, for some this can be an advantage if you are a seasoned trader understanding the volume factor that comes along with it. 99% Of the time one should decline the bonus. Don’t take this up lightly. If I had a penny for everytime a trader tells me their funds are stuck after accepting a bonus, well I’d be rich without the need to trade 😉

Hi MBO Members,

So got a Message from CherryTrade this morning via Skype. Shocked at what I read?

“Spot Option have informed us that as of today all USA registrations for all SpotOption brands will be Blocked. We apologise for the late notice as this was a shock to us as well.”

Anybody have any feedback if it is just CherryTade pulling a fast one, or actually a legit message from SpotOption? I was waiting for this day to come, the day where no “Binary Options Broker” accepts US clients. Now it is all NADEX. Hate when people argue that it is exactly the same as binaries.

Anyway, all about politics, regulations and MONEY!

I’d love to hear what you guys have to say…?

Hi Peeps!

Just want to share this trade I took on the EUR/USD based off of a resistance level. It first acted as a support level which was violated and became resistance. Perfect opportunity for a 15min PUT! All in all this was an easy win. The chart below shows how things looked about 7min into the trade. Lots of people would panaic, but not me 🙂

EURUSD-15MIN-PUT

So another few mins later the trade expired ITM! Yea… Simply following the rules of price action…. Here is how things ended up expiring.

EURUSD-15MIN-EXPIRED

So even though a few minutes in things looked like it would take a turn for the worse, price action once again proved to be KING! Simple things can lead to impressive results!

Cheers,

Dennis 🙂
